Fourth time I've played this course. It's a fabulous layout and course is always in magnificent shape. What more can I say. They usually have monthly specials on the internet, so I always pay under $30 for a round with a cart, before 8am. If you get a chance, you must play this course, it's a beauty!

Billy Casper managed and they have done an admirable job by increasing rounds albeit by sacrificing pace of play and reduced staff to maintain the course condition and pace of play. I can live with 4 1/2 rounds but they need to improve green agronomy and bunkers need more sand. That being said this course is still one of the top ten courses to play in Illinois. Budget golfers will revel at the weekly discounts and course condition for the green fees spent. It is a great course to walk too.

To me the worse offense is inconsistent greens. Only partially due to recent aeration.

Great layout and always in good condition. A few houses on the edges, but nothing that s/b in play. Hard to believe that it's a park district course - seems too upscale. Some very unique holes, very challenging, and always lots of fun. Pricey without a deal, but worth it.

Its a good course. Some of the fairways, however, could use work. The pace of play is also too slow.

This is the best golf course in the western suburbs for value. Plays like a premium championship golf course at muni prices.

Have played this course over 100 times and still enjoy the challenge that this course offers. If you want a very stern test of golf, use the black tees, blue tees are challenging for the mid-handicapper and the whites are playable for everyone. The fairways and greens are always in fine shape, some of the tee boxes on the par three's can get over-used occasionally, but this doesn't diminish the quality of the round.
